Just got an email from one of the timers at Cap Road Race:  “Processing your entry and this is what I have, can you give me your name and age please, so we can prep your packet?”

Oh, thank goodness. 

When I registered on Active.com, I didn’t realize that when their merge with Cool Running occurred, something happened to my profile and my name was listed as “Unknown Unknown”.  And while that has a nice ring to it, not exactly helpful when registering for a race and wanting to be listed on the results page.

So, I emailed a couple of people over at the Parks and Rec trying to get it straightened out, but apparently, that didn’t work out because I got the email today. 

It’s a big relief.  I’m glad there will actually be a packet for me to pick up when I work the booth on Thursday.

Thursday!  I get my packet on Thursday!  The race is in four days.  Oh. Em. Gee.  Wheeee!!
