Current Running Schedule

This poor page currently gets pretty neglected, as I have been updating my runs in entries.
I am currently on Week 6 of Spark Your Way To a 5K. I actually should say we because I am currently training for Folsom’s Run With Nature with my friend, MB. I had restarted the C25K program and then restarted it a week later, when she mentioned wanting to start, as well. We then switched over to the Spark Program because we lost a week, by restarting the program and the Spark program is only 8 weeks, whereas C25K is 9 weeks.
I started the program when I was 40 pounds heavier than I was when I started it in 2006, so I’m trying to keep my goals and progress realistic. The thing I’m learning, this time around, regarding both my weight loss and my running is to be a lot more flexible with myself.

Tuesday, April 1, 2008 - Walking Day - Actual: 3.14 mi in 1 hour, 9 mins, MB’s neighborhood
Wednesday, April 2, 2008 - Week 2, Day 2 - 1.5/2 x 6 - Actual: 2.25 mi in 41 mins, Tricks Trails
Friday, April 4, 2008 - Walking Day - Actual: 2.25 mi in 1 hour, MB’s neighborhood
Saturday, April 5, 2008 - Week 2, Day 3 - 1.5/2 X6 - Actual: 4.28 mi in 1 hour, 28 mins, MB’s neighborhood.
Monday, April 7, 2008 - Week 3, Day 1 - 2/3 x6 - Actual: 2.22 in 38:10, The Parkway - Me and my lonesome. MB=sick. Boo.

Sickness and scheduled plagued us at the end of last week, so we ended up finishing up Week 5 in the same week as our Week 6 runs.
