Well, that “other nutrition plan” that I mentioned a couple of entries back (or maybe it was just the last one? I don’t know?) was my looking to create a healthy eating plan for pregnancy.
So, I don’t know what I’m going to do with this space for the next 9 months. My ob/gyn has approved my running after another week or so, because I had some bleeding that we want to see gone for good, so I hope to get back into that.
I haven’t been eating super well, but haven’t been out of control either.
I haven’t moved much because I’ve been exhausted in that way that you can only be in the first trimester of a pregnancy.
Today begins my 5/7th week (lunar month vs. lnmp month) and I have an ultrasound scheduled for Monday to see if we can see a heartbeat.
Again, I’m just tired right now, and not feeling too sick, knock on wood. I’ve had a little bit of nausea here and there, and yesterday just officially gagged myself with my toothbrush for the first time. (This was a huge problem during my pregnancy with Jessica.)
Boobs hurt? Check. Fatigue? Check. Hormonal? Ehhhhh, not so bad. I always said that my favourite part about being pregnant with Jessica was how much pregnancy mellowed me out. Well, this time, not so much, so I’m convinced I’m having a boy.
It hasn’t been too bad, but I’ve had a couple of moments.
Other than that, things are good so far. I’m just hoping for a good ultrasound on Monday because that will drop my chances of miscarriage from 20-25% down to 3%.
So, that’s what’s going on with me.
